We organize ourselves around a set of ideals — that basic needs are basic rights, that democracy and governance belongs to everyone, that prosperity is something we create together through cooperative ownership and shared sovereignty. These aren't distant goals. They shape every choice we make. Beneath those ideals sit the beliefs that guide how we show up with each other. We lead with trust first rather than suspicion. We say yes before we say no. We recognize that everyone who walks through our door carries knowledge worth learning from, and has something worth teaching. We practice radical inclusion not as a policy but as a way of being. And we hold as foundational that we are all connected — that what diminishes one of us diminishes all of us, and that what lifts one of us lifts everyone. We govern by principles, not rules.
